Springwater Corridor trail (outer SE Portland)
Saturday, September 21, 9:00 a.m. – noon
Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Lents Springwater Habitat Restoration Project and Hands On Portland to remove invasive species in an area that will be planted by neighborhood school children this coming winter. Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt and sturdy walking shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear and/or sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water and treats provided.
Meet at: SE 103rd & Springwater Corridor trail, at Foster Road.
Tri-met bus: #14, Lents Town Center/SE Foster bus stop (walk east on Foster to SCT intersection). Bus #71, SE 103rd and Foster Road bus stop.

Errol Heights Natural Area (inner SE Portland) – SOLVE Beach & Riverside Cleanup & National Public Lands Day

Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Friends of Errol Heights and SOLVE to install a sign, mulch in preparation for future planting and to remove invasive species from our native planting areas! Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt and sturdy walking shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear and/or sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water and treats provided. This event is part of the SOLVE Beach and Riverside CleanUp and National Public Lands Day.
Meet at: SE 52nd & SE Tenino Dr. Note: Tenino Dr. is a dirt road. Please do not block neighbors’ driveways.
Tri-met bus: #75, SE 45th & Tenino Drive stop. Walk 5 minutes east on Tenino Dr. or walk the trail through natural area to meeting site.
Bike/Walk the Springwater Corridor trail: www.PortlandOregon.gov/parks/springwatermap. Exit trail at SE 45th St. entrance and ride a short distance north and up the slight hill on SE 45th Place (Harvey Dr.). Turn left onto SE 52nd and left onto SE Tenino Dr.

From the exit, turn left onto Glisan St. and then immediately right onto NE 60th. Drive south on SE 60th. There is a traffic light at SE Salmon; turn left here and follow the road up into the Park to the main parking lot. OR drive west on SE Division to SE 60th, turn north (right) onto SE 60th and then right (east) onto SE Salmon at the traffic light.  
Tri-met bus #71 or #15, and a walk up the hill.
