Superhero Prose                                      Name______________________

You will write a 12 line poem or prose about yourself. It will fit on a note card and hang under your photo in our classroom. The audience is anyone who visits our classroom. You want to tell them something about yourself.
Weaknesses
things you think you could improve on

To brainstorm make a list of things that are true about you below:

Strengths
things you feel you do well

In your writing you need to include the following:

            1. The title needs to be your name as a superhero name.

2. A physical description

            3. What do you like to do with your time?

            4. If you had a superpower to magnify one of your strengths what would it be?

            5. If you had a superpower to strengthen one of your weaknesses what would it be?

            6. Conclusion

The Incredible Imaginative Indigo

I have long flowing bright blue hair that matches my glittery cape.

To magnify my strength of creativity and adding beauty to the world
I can instantly create anything I imagine by gracefully moving my fingertips.

My skills of solving problems and seeing multiple perspectives brighten my community.

I enjoy spending most of my time outside in nature soaking up the sun,
pausing to appreciate beautiful moments. This practice calms and relaxes me.

To strengthen my weakness of being stressed out by having too many obligations
I have the power to clone myself and be in multiple places at the same time.

Since I have a cape I can fly and that saves time too!

You choose one of the following projects to share with our class. You will be making an advertisement for a book that you choose to read. Be persuasive and include a counter argument.     It is due on Monday December 3st and is worth 30 points!
