2.Read ¼ of your choice book with the theme of someone overcoming a challenge-
bring booklet and your book to class, with page three completed!
Wednesday January 22nd-
1. Late Opening 10:45
               2.. Service pages 53 and 61- MLK

Extra Credit- due January 17th
Ecore-  choose one of the following (worth 10 points)
  1.  Write a one page report explaining the science behind a specific water issue. Example- pollution Include your sources
  1. Make a colored comic strip with at least 8 frames about a water issue that you are concerned about include facts and what can we do about it. Include your sources

Reading- (worth 10 points)

  You choose one of the following projects to share with our class. You will be making an advertisement for a book that you have read this quarter but have NOT done a presentation about. 
  1. Poster
  2. Magazine advertisement
  3. Radio advertisement (You will record it or read it out loud to the class.)
  4. TV advertisement (You will act it out or video.)
Your project must include the following:
q  Title
q  Author
q  Main Characters
q  Setting
q  Plot summary
q  Star rating of the book (4 out of 5 stars)

Writing- choose one of the following (worth 10 points)

1.      Write a page long journal entry from the point of view of a famous environmental activist.
2.      Write 3 page long poems about winter, spring or water issues
3.      Write a page long letter to someone  famous trying to convince them to donate money to a specific charity or non-profit.

Social Studies- choose one of the following formats(worth 10 points)

Research a country with a water issue- you will share with the class
  1. Poster
  2. Magazine
  3. Radio (You will record it or read it out loud to the class.)
  4. TV  (You will act it out or video.
