SELL APPLEBEE”S TICKETS!!!
On the 24th of January from 8 to 10 am, we will be holding our HUGE fundraiser--8th grade students and middle school teachers from SES will be serving a pancake breakfast at the Applebee's by Lloyd Center!  Tickets are 10 dollars each, and SES gets 6 dollars of every ticket sold. The money raised goes into the GO Fund. Our goal is for each middle school classroom to sell 100 tickets!
That means about 3-4 tickets per student!  Each student will get 2 tickets valued at $10 each, or $20 total, today in order to find someone to purchase them. Students may request more than 2 tickets as well (today one student took 4 and others decided to start with the 2 minimum). We are encouraging all 8th graders to sell 5 tickets, all 7th graders to sell 3 tickets, and all 6th to sell 2....that's our goal!
In addition to funding our overnight trips, this is a great experience for the students to get a feel for restaurant work and service jobs.. It's also great to be on the receiving end--having students and teachers serving you! It's a community event that only works if we all pitch in--whether it be buying tickets, drinking coffee poured by an 8th grader you've known since kindergarten, being seated by a student you have barely spoken to, getting a coffee refill from your child's teacher....
Don’t delay! Buy early! These make great gifts--for yourself or for others, especially when you explain how important it is as a community event. Invite your friends and the whole family!  Thanks for all of your support!
