 Tuesday June 2nd-
BRING IN any library books or school books or books with Indigo @SES (that you are NOT ready)
Bring in money for Oaks Park- $10
Our Iron chef dishes: Spanakopita with homemade Feta cheese, and a creamy radish salad. Our ingredients are radish and parsley
Iron Chef Ingredients bring in if you grow/make them or have local access-
8 pounds of spinach
4 bunches of scallions with the greens
1 cup of parsley
6 eggs
6 bunches of radishes
3 cups plain greek yogurt
1 quart Plain yogurt
3 lemons
6 cloves of garlic
6 tbsp fresh dill or fennel if necessary
2 vegetable rennet tablets
Cheese making calcium chloride
Thank you! It would be a huge help if you brought some of these in. Please do not buy the ingredients. Bring them in only if you have grown them or make them.
Ask your folks if they can help cook for Iron Chef on Tuesday 2nd

Finish reading your novel! Bringing library books to school!!!!!
Do week four homework. AND fill out the assignment sheet given at beginning of the book
Each week when we meet you will need to do one of the following:
1.      Write a letter to or from a character in the book.
  1. Use post-it-notes to mark 5 places in the book you would like to discuss- write why on the post-it.
  2. Research 5 facts about the location your book takes place.
  3. Draw a picture on a different paper of a scene in the book

Wednesday June 3rd-
All 8th grade portfolios must be finished and at school

Thursday June 4th-
River cleanup Willamette River- bring lunch and water and dress appropriate for the weather

Friday June 5th-
Sunnystock and Taste of Sunnyside

Monday June 8th-
Revising Previous writing piece!
Compliments for classmates due

Tuesday June 9th-

Wednesday June 10th-
8th grade promotion

Thursday June 11th-
Last day of school-
Bring a lunch and water!!! be ready to walk to Col. Summer’s park to hang out and sign yearbooks
