Program details: The FMTP crew leader program has been expanded since its inception three years ago through a collaboration of the Friends of Mt. Training starts with a 2-hour session where new crew leaders learn about the program, restoration techniques, safety practices, how to work with volunteers, and which native and invasive species are most seen in the Park. Crew leaders receive a handbook that contains all material covered during the training as well as background and contact information for FMTP and partner organizations. Participants will eat lunch and then go outside for a hands-on lesson and restoration project in the Park.
