Errol Heights Natural Area (Inner SE
Portland) – mulching
Saturday,
February 21, 9:00 AM-noon
Join
Portland Parks & Recreation, the Friends of Errol Heights and other
community members to mulch an area to prepare it for planting native species.
Please wear long pants and long sleeves, sturdy shoes and a rain/sunhat and
bring a backpack, rain gear and water bottle. Instruction, tools, gloves,
coffee, water and KIND granola bars will be provided.
Meet
at: SE Tenino Dr., west of SE 52nd,
across from the Errol Heights Community Garden. Turn west onto SE Tenino
(dirt road) from SE 52nd and travel about ¼ mile, staying to the
left at each juncture.
Tri-met: Bus #75, SE 45th & Tenino Drive bus stop.
Walk 5 minutes east on Tenino Drive.
Ride/walk
to the Natural Area on the
