 Late work!

After school gardening with Jenna will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:15 if any students need it. 

8th grade-Two Letters:  Written for adults who have helped you in your middle school journey. Apology or Gratitude. 

Wednesday May 18th –Late Opening-10:45
8th grade-  Making a Difference:  2 parts—1) create a resume that shows the many types of service that you have completed over the years through SES as well as outside of school.  2) reflect on your action and educational outreach that you have done with your cohort (we will brainstorm this during one cohort meeting).
·       If necessary transfer to Google Docs writing to be revised
·       All Brownfields trifold and 3D done and at school
·       Clean out your locker
·       Ask your parents if they can help small groups cook for Iron Chef on Tuesday May 31st or Wednesday June 1st

Thursday May 19th-
·       Trip to Cooley Gallery- Bring lunch or money
·       Clean out your locker

Friday May 20th-
·       Revise Previous Writing due by end of school day
·       Brownfields Design Competition!
·       Clean out your locker

Monday May 23rd-May 27th –Marine Biology Trips!!!!

Monday May 30th- No School Memorial Day
Tuesday May 31st-
·       Native Plant Study Guide
·       Bring book to school for silent reading
Wednesday June 1st –
·       Service reflection due
My Life So Far:  2 parts—1) reflect on your years at SES and your life during middle school. What did you learn about yourself, others and the world?  What conflicts did you face and how did you work to overcome them?  What moments were funny and adventuresome?  Who helped you along the way?  2) News and events:  what was going on in the world during your middle school years? World news, celebrity gossip, local happenings, etc. You might create one page/year to go along with your own personal reflection in part (1).
